In 2026, Robert Elfgen invites to a journey through imaginary landscapes at Sprüth Magers. The artist explores the complex relationship between humanity and nature, no longer as merely a source of inspiration, but as a mythical and poetic language. His works, ranging from assemblages to sandblasted glass panels and paintings, create dreamlike scenes where artificial and natural elements meet in unexpected ways. The exhibition, presented as part of Gallery Weekend Berlin, relies on a striking contrast, as indicated by the artist's practice. By combining observation and invention, Elfgen offers “visual poems” that question our place in ecosystems and suggest more harmonious ways of existing. This exhibition is an invitation to contemplation and reflection on our relationship with the world. It is accessible for free from May 2nd to August 1st, 2026.
