Angélica Serech crafts her own looms to create textile works of rare power. For her first major European appearance, the Guatemalan artist transforms weaving into a powerful vector of memory. Marked by years of civil war in her country, her work goes beyond pain to celebrate resilience. Each interwoven thread becomes an act of healing, where complex patterns and vibrant colors tell the story of the possibility of reconstruction. The International Museum of the Red Cross and Red Crescent welcomes this dialogue between ancestral traditions and contemporary issues from October 9, 2025, to August 30, 2026. This installation testifies to the art's capacity to mend the tears of history, offering a necessary space for reflection on transmission and time. A luminous encounter with a key figure in the Latin American art scene.
