Veronica Ryan: Multiple Conversations

This major exhibition presents the work of Veronica Ryan, the Turner Prize laureate, through a hundred works including sculptures, textiles, and paper works. The exhibition explores the themes of memory, migration, and identity through organic materials and found objects. Ryan transforms everyday elements – fruits, packaging, debris – into poetic artworks that evoke the Windrush story and diasporic experiences. Her colorful and textured sculptures create a dialogue between Caribbean and British cultures, inviting visitors to reflect on the notions of belonging and transformation. The exhibition includes several new works designed specifically for the Whitechapel Gallery.
