The Nights of the Thyssen

Starting in 2026, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum opens its doors every Saturday evening for a unique artistic experience. This free initiative allows visitors to escape into a world of paintings ranging from Old Masters to 20th-century movements, in an intimate and contemplative atmosphere. The ‘Noches Thyssen’ evenings offer different lighting, revealing the artworks in a new light. Cultural events punctuating these evenings add an extra dimension to the visit. In 2026, the exhibition ‘Balenciaga and Spanish Painting’ will be added, as well as other temporary exhibitions. A must-do event for art lovers and those who want to discover the museum in a peaceful and privileged atmosphere. The evenings will continue until December 2026.
