RTRU* (Konstantin Raudive Technoculture Research Unit)

Between April 4th and May 17th, 2026, KAJ hosts RTRU*, an exhibition that challenges our relationship with communication technologies. Konstantin Raudive, a pioneer of the 20th century, sought to capture voices from beyond the grave on magnetic tapes. Today, contemporary artists explore these ideas in sound and video installations. The exhibition questions the boundary between reality and imagination, offering a unique framework for reflecting on the mysteries of technological modernity. The works of Ka Baird, Scott Benzel, and Voldemārs Matvejs create an enigmatic atmosphere that invites attentive listening and metaphysical questioning.
