Jack Kerouac, a defining figure of the Beat Generation, reveals his most intimate facets through over 60 previously unseen pieces from his collection. The exhibition ‘Running Through Heaven’ offers unprecedented access to his manuscripts, letters, and artwork, unveiling the roots of his work and the influences that shaped him. From his earliest childhood writings to reflections on Zen and the impact of African-American culture, one discovers the author’s creative process – a seeker of meaning at a crossroads. This collection, stemming from the archive of Jacob Loewentheil, allows us to transcend the Kerouac myth and appreciate the depth of his spiritual and artistic engagement. The exhibition is free and runs from March 5th to May 16th, 2026. A unique opportunity to observe the work of a genius through his own eyes.
