Starting in January 2026, Pioneer Works presents ‘The Endless Garment: Atlantic Basin’, a fascinating transnational exploration of Asian textile production and its global ramifications. The exhibition, designed by Jeppe Ugelvig, delves into the supply chains, from manufacturing to representation, through archival garments, photographs of Taiwanese workers, and nylon rope sculptures evoking sugarcane stalks. A cardboard container houses portraits of young Vietnamese entrepreneurs, while works by Huang Po-Chih and Chang Yuchen interrogate the links between labor, identity, and industrial obsolescence. CFGNY proposes a series of photographs captured in Ho Chi Minh City, highlighting new production dynamics. The exhibition is enriched by a collection of shanzhai T-shirts, remnants of an archaeological project led by Shanzhai Lyric, and a poetic book composed of their slogans and mistranslations. An unprecedented reflection on fashion and globalization, accessible for free from January 24th to April 12th, 2026.
