The Many Lives of Cats & Companions

Starting in March 2026, Usagi NY is hosting ‘The Many Lives of Cats & Companions’, a collective exhibition celebrating the unique status of cats and their human companions. Twenty-two artists, from DUMBO and beyond, are presenting a diverse exploration of these creatures through painting, photography, sculpture, and illustration. The exhibition revisits the history of feline representation, from its enigmatic symbols to its status as a beloved companion, offering a contemporary perspective on human-animal relationships. Workshops and meetings with the artists will enrich this immersive experience. This exhibition is a unique opportunity to discover original works and to reflect on the role of animals in our society. The exhibition is free and runs from March 31st to April 12th, 2026.
