In April 2026, immerse yourself in the heart of Berlin in 1942 with Andreas Dresen’s film *In Liebe, Eure Hilde*. The work, based on a true story, follows Hilde, a young woman who joins a clandestine resistance network, “The Red Orchestra,” and falls in love with Hans. The exhibition, introduced by Professor Mechthild Gilzmer, explores the bravery and sacrifice of French women during the Occupation, in connection with the exhibition “Resistance, Repression, Deportation. Women of France at Ravensbrück Concentration Camp.” The film sheds light on an intense and courageous love story, confronted by the dangers of war and the Gestapo. Liv Lisa Fries delivers a remarkable performance in the role of Hilde, a silent and determined heroine. This free event offers a poignant look at a dark chapter of history, enriched by the perspective of an expert.
