Jesse Darling, the winner of the Turner Prize 2023, transforms the Palais de Tokyo into a theater of drifting objects. Starting April 3, 2026, industrial materials and discarded items collected at random become sculptures inhabited by invisible narratives. The artist composes fantastical landscapes where metal and plastic bear the stigmas of depletion. By staging this physical fragility, these works challenge our gaze on the apparent solidity of the modern world. These installations, both minimal and spectacular, transform the ordinary into hybrid relics charged with emotion. This major artistic proposition remains visible until September 14, 2026, inviting us to observe the singular beauty that emanates from degradation and precariousness.
