Shark / Helsly / Bataille

The Taylor Foundation will host a singular artistic encounter from April 2nd to 25th, 2026, where matter dialogues with absence. Annie Helsly’s engravings capture the raw energy of minerals and vegetation in a perpetual movement. Facing them, Bertrand Bataille’s silhouettes interrogate our identity through faces that are both multiple and universal. The balance is completed by Irina Shark’s works: her fragmented sculptures seem on the verge of disappearing while asserting a magnetic presence. This gathering of talents offers a cross-view on the fragility of living things and the permanence of forms. It’s a rare opportunity to observe how etching, the human figure, and volume intertwine to tell the invisible. An essential springtime rendezvous to appreciate the poetry of an art that is sensitive to the touch.
