Franco Battiato. Another Life

The MAXXI presents until April 26, 2026, an exhibition in homage to Franco Battiato, five years after his death. This exhibition, co-produced by the Ministry of Culture and the MAXXI, offers a complete portrait of Battiato’s cultural contribution, from music to philosophy. Visitors discover his paintings, photographs, manuscripts and personal objects illustrating his multidimensional artistic journey. The exhibition explores his Eastern influences, his spirituality and his intellectual engagement through immersive installations and video projections. This retrospective celebrates a unique artist who transcended musical genres and influenced contemporary Italian culture for over five decades.
