On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Paolo Paschetto’s death, the Casina delle Civette pays tribute to the artist who has left his mark on this magical place. Paschetto was the appointed master glassmaker of the Villa Torlonia, creating stained glass windows of rare elegance that transform light into colorful poetry. The exhibition presents preparatory drawings, studies, and stained glass windows made for the princely residence. His Art Nouveau style, imbued with symbolism and refinement, flourishes in these works where flowers, female figures, and decorative motifs intertwine with grace. The Casina delle Civette, with its turrets and colorful windows, constitutes the perfect setting to rediscover this artist who was able to fuse decorative art with personal expression. A luminous itinerary celebrating an unknown but essential part of Rome’s artistic heritage of the early 20th century.
