John Armleder | Ripple: Furniture Sculpture and Painting after 1982 - David Kordansky Gallery
John Armleder, a key figure of the Swiss art conceptual and neo- dada scene, proposes, starting May 7, 2026, a fascinating exploration of his work ‘Ripple’. The exhibition, presented at the David Kordansky Gallery, highlights his series of furniture sculptures and paintings, the result of a deep reflection since 1982. Armleder questions the boundaries between art, design, and the environment, integrating everyday objects – chairs, furniture, even surfboards – into his compositions. Influenced by Fluxus and John Cage, he creates works that challenge our perception of space and function. This exhibition gathers rare pieces, testifying to a singular artistic approach and a constant search for new forms of expression. The event is free and extends until June 13, 2026.
