Raven Chacon: Scores for Coming Storms

In 2026, Sikkema Malloy Jenkins presents a powerful and immersive work. Artist Raven Chacon explores the connections between landscape, sound, and movement through a unique ensemble. A large visual composition acting as a score for a performance is at the heart of the exhibition, complemented by sound installations and vibrant textiles. Drawings in ink reveal fragments of attentive observations. Chacon uses these elements to translate the premonitory forces of climate and the fragility of the environment.
