Christopher Williams: De Pedagogische Prop, Een Productplaatsing

In 2026, Christopher Williams' conceptual work, ‘The Pedagogical Prop’, takes shape at FMP1. The artist, known for his exploration of the impact of images in industrial culture, proposes an immersive experience combining photography and music. The exhibition presents a vinyl single, a key element of his work, which uses adaptations of a radio play text by Franz Xavier Kroetz. Williams thus questions the pedagogical functions of objects and images, highlighting their role in shaping perceptions. This project, in collaboration with Free Music Production, fits into a Berlin trend: listening bars dedicated to discovering rare vinyls. A launch event is scheduled for April 29th, preceding Gallery Weekend, offering a unique opportunity to dive into Williams' sonic and visual universe. The exhibition is open from Saturday to Thursday.
