In 2026, Fluentum in Berlin will present a fascinating exploration of the relationship between destruction and liberation through the work of three British artists. The exhibition highlights the iconic work of Tina Keane, notably her video “Escalator” restored after more than 30 years of absence, as well as new creations by Hilary Lloyd and James Richards, the recipient of the National Gallery Prize 2024. This collaboration, parallel to Gallery Weekend Berlin, examines how movement, risk and inversion are at the heart of video and audio creation. The artists, ranging from a pioneer of video to a contemporary figure, question the tension between deconstruction and possibility. The exhibition invites reflection on the complex dynamics between body, image and technology, offering a unique perspective on the evolution of contemporary art. A chance to discover innovative works and new perspectives on the question of space and movement.
