Doowon Arriveert in New York met Te Veel Dieren

In april 2026, the ACA Galleries in New York will present “Doowon Arrives in New York with Too Many Animals”, the second solo exhibition of the Korean artist Doowon Lee. This prolific work is the result of exploratory journeys through Pakistan, Nepal, Georgia, Uzbekistan and beyond. Lee, a self-taught artist, creates a vibrant and humorous universe where nature, animals and humans coexist harmoniously. His works, rich in materials and overflowing with life, combine original paintings with complex carpets and weaves. The exhibition offers a unique insight into Lee’s artistic vision, born from his explorations and his particular sensitivity. The event is free and takes place from April 25th to June 20th, 2026.
