Perri Neri: Even Kijkend

In 2026, artist Perri Neri explores the relationship between the individual and the image in "Caught Looking," an exhibition presented by The Painting Center. The artwork was born from a bold challenge: Neri abandoned his monumental canvases to focus on the face, soliciting selfies from his followers. Over 30 unique portraits emerged from this collaboration, each painted with a precise realistic detail of 16 x 12 inches.
