1e editie van NOÛS, het festival kunst & AI

In april 2026, the Bibliothèque nationale de France will host an unprecedented exploration: the festival NOÛS. This first edition, the result of a collaboration between the BnF, Fisheye and other partners, examines the impact of artificial intelligence on artistic creation. The exhibition invites a dialogue between the literary, artistic and scientific heritage of the BnF and contemporary technological advancements. International artists, such as Justine Emard or Kimchi & Chips, use the BnF collections – books, engravings, photographs – as a source of inspiration and raw material, exploring forms of generative and interactive art. The festival aims to be an ethical compass, seeking to reconcile innovation and respect for the heritage, revealing what has been buried through AI. Access is free from April 9th to 19th. Conferences, performances and screenings complement this unique program.
