Een bredere blik – FOTODOK x Nederlands Atelier

In november 2026, the Dutch Atelier in Paris will host a collective exhibition exploring the complexity of European identity. Organized by FOTODOK with the invitation of the Netherlands Embassy, this presentation highlights the work of ten artists and photographers, each addressing the question of “being European” through diverse and often overlooked perspectives. The exhibition takes place within the context of Paris Photo, an international showcase for photography art. The presented works – including installations, videos and textiles – deconstruct traditional notions of belonging by examining crucial themes such as colonial heritage, work and identity. This initiative offers a unique opportunity to reflect on the contemporary issues of European construction. The exhibition is free and serves as an anchor point for art lovers and those interested in European history and cultures. A public program, including a discussion dinner, will enrich this experience.
