Collectief « Kleuren van het Geheugen »

In november 2026, Galerie L’Esprit d’Escalier presents an unprecedented collective exhibition celebrating Día de los Muertos, the Mexican tradition honoring the deceased. This manifestation, born from pre-Columbian rituals of offering, invites a dialogue between the living and the dead, highlighting the vibrant colors and elaborate altars that compose this poignant tribute. The exhibition aims to be a memory of victims of femicide and missing persons, a reflection on collective memory and intergenerational connection. The presented artworks, varied in their media, draw inspiration from this ancestral tradition, exploring themes of absence, remembrance, and continuity. The event is free and open to all, offering an immersion into a rich universe of symbolism and emotion. A unique opportunity to appreciate contemporary art and connect with deep cultural roots.
