To Build Law - Galerie Callot
In 2026, the Callot Gallery presents “Building Laws,” an unprecedented exhibition in France produced by the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA). The work of the Berlin-based collective bplus.xyz, known for its research into the transformation of territories and its legislative approach to architecture, is at the heart of this presentation. The exhibition reveals how legal frameworks shape cities and housing, through documents, films, models, and case studies. The project focuses particularly on the HouseEurope! initiative, a political laboratory aimed at sustainably rethinking urbanism. The exhibition is structured around three axes exploring innovative approaches to rehabilitation and the use of law in architectural design. Curatorial meetings and documentary film screenings complement this immersion in a radically different design approach. Free of charge, this exhibition is a unique opportunity to observe an innovative approach to architecture and its impact on society.
