In 2025, the Korean Cultural Center invites you on a sensory journey to the heart of contemporary Korean art. The exhibition “Colors of Korea” celebrates the 140th anniversary of Franco-Korean relations by exploring color as a universal language, deeply rooted in Korean culture. Major artists such as LEE Ungno and KIM Tschang-Yeul share space with contemporary talents like Yeesookyung and Anicka Yi, offering an unprecedented panorama of Korean creation. The exhibition is based on the concept of “Obangsaek,” this constellation of five cardinal colors, a symbol of balance and breathing, to reveal the richness of Korean sensitivity. Through 34 artworks, ranging from painting to digital art, the exhibition questions memory, identity, and the links between tradition and innovation. Free and open from October 24, 2025 to August 30, 2026, this exhibition is a vibrant dialogue between two cultures.
