Submarine Colors

Pierre Lobel, a photographer from the 14th arrondissement, offers a poetic dive into the depths of the sea. From May to June 2026, the Aimé Césaire Library will present an immersive collection of photographs capturing the beauty of the underwater world and its inhabitants. The exhibition explores our relationship with the unknown and the fragility of underwater life. Lobel, known for his contemplative approach, uses light and composition to reveal underwater landscapes of remarkable intensity. It’s a unique opportunity to contemplate new images and reflect on our impact on marine ecosystems. The exhibition is free and accessible from May 5th to June 7th.
