Two Trades, Two Photographers

Eight meters above the ground or hands in the earth, the guardians of the green lungs of Paris are being exhibited under a new light. Starting May 27, 2026, a series of striking photographs will occupy the entrance to the Du Breuil school, at the heart of Bois de Vincennes. This photographic route highlights the daily lives of gardeners and arborists-pruner, these artisans of the shadows who watch over the capital’s green heritage. Between acrobatic aerial maneuvers in the treetops and precise horticultural work close to the ground, the images capture the strength and poetry of gestures often unknown. The outdoor exhibition allows for free wandering until October 1, 2026, offering an intimate look at those who make the city breathe. It’s a unique opportunity to appreciate the technical skill of these passion trades during a bucolic stroll.
