In April 2026, Jonathan Sullam invites to a deep reflection on exile and time through two striking installations at the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles. “CRUNCH VI” and “SLICE OF TIME” explore collective memory through digital and sculptural works, including neon lights inspired by the Hubble space telescope. The artist, whose ancestry is marked by migrations and destructions, uses industrial materials to question our perception of space and time, reminding us that the theory of relativity influences how we experience reality. The installations propose a dual temporality: the ephemeral image and the memory of the extinguished neon, inviting contemplation on the fragility of memory and the permanence of the image. This exhibition is an invitation to question the dynamics of power and the commodification of memory, while also exploring the links between history, identity, and space. Visit the works from April 10th to 23rd, from 11am to 7pm or 2pm to 9pm.
