The Flood of the Seine in Paris

In 1910, Parisians were boating on streets transformed by a historic flood. This scenario, far from being a mere memory, poses a major challenge for our future urban landscape. The Maison de la Vie Associative et Citoyenne proposes a unique collaborative workshop to grasp the mechanisms of a centennial flood. Through a collective format, participants analyze the chain reactions of a major flood and imagine concrete solutions to strengthen the capital's resilience. This interactive experience allows one to appropriate the right reflexes and anticipate the necessary transformations of our everyday environment in the face of the river’s caprices.
