From the 1960s onwards, a generation of artists swept aside conventions to focus on the pure form and raw presence of the object. Starting October 8th, 2025, the Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection sheds light on this radical movement that redefined the rules of creation. By bringing together masterpieces from the Pinault Collection with prestigious international loans, the exhibition illustrates how these creators transformed our perception of space. The circular architecture of the former grain hall becomes the perfect setting for these geometric structures and industrial materials. Far from being austere, these works reveal an incredible diversity of textures and volumes. This major event, visible until January 19th, 2026, offers a unique journey to the origins of an aesthetic of purity that continues to influence contemporary art.
