Dive into the "marvels" of the Sainte-Geneviève Library!

A selection of precious manuscripts is leaving the shadows of the reserves to meet the fresh gaze of a new generation. From April 13th to June 12th, 2026, the Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève will highlight the research and creative work of passionate students. These students have scoured the historical fonds to extract works illustrating the concept of the marvelous, before taking possession of them through original works and various media. Rather than a classic route, this event proposes a conversation between written heritage and contemporary imagination. The explanatory texts, written by the students themselves, offer a direct reading of these secular treasures. It is a unique opportunity to observe how tales of the past echo the minds of today. An timeless dialogue that revives the parchment and illuminations within this monument to knowledge.
