Pulsions. Jean Dubuffet, the last years (1974-1985)

Jean Dubuffet, between 1974 and 1985, experienced a final, extremely prolific and dazzling phase of creation, often unknown to the general public. The Dubuffet Foundation gathers for the first time over 150 works from this period of ultimate artistic effervescence. This exceptional collection illustrates the boundless power of the artist, who, until his last years, continued to reinvent his pictorial language with radical boldness and freedom. It is a unique opportunity to grasp the raw force and persistent inventiveness of an indispensable master. The exhibition will be held from April 16th to October 24th, 2026, at the Dubuffet Foundation.
