Nothing As Our Ground

The Ethnographic Museum challenges traditional family codes by highlighting eleven contemporary artistic perspectives. Starting November 28, 2025, the Berlin institution explores the bonds we forge by choice, particularly within queer and migrant communities. Videos, photographs, and installations illustrate how solidarity and belonging are rebuilt during migration or marginalization journeys. Departing from classic Western models, these works celebrate the richness of intercultural relationships and the resilience of those who create their own support systems. Until August 3, 2026, this programming offers a necessary look at the networks of tenderness that keep us upright in a changing world. A powerful reflection on what truly unites us beyond biological structures and geographical boundaries.
