At the Arc de Triomphe: A Freehand for Camille Chastang - Arc de triomphe
Camille Chastang transforms the imposing Arc de Triomphe on March 21, 2026. As a key artist of the Spring Drawing Festival, the artist deploys a monumental floral installation whose vibrant colors clash with the solemnity of the monument. Her lines drape over the walls to establish a poetic dialogue between historical architecture and a flourishing nature. This artistic intervention temporarily transforms the edifice into a suspended garden with daring and solar lines. From April 20th onwards, the public can circulate at the heart of this spring explosion where drawing escapes paper to adorn the space. It is a unique opportunity to observe a national symbol adorned with lightness and dazzling pigments, offering an organic and contemporary reading of this stone emblem.
