Against Nature: Drawing the Anthropocene

From January 25, 2026, the Bastide Botanical Garden becomes the stage for a visual confrontation between human hand and evolution of life. Here, the act of drawing serves as witness to current ecological upheavals. Through a selection of works ranging from hyperrealism to minimalism, artists question the impact of our activities on a biodiversity undergoing change. The plant-filled environment of the venue amplifies the force of the works, creating direct dialogue with the surrounding nature. This event encourages collective reflection beyond moralizing discourses, prioritizing emotion and critical thought.
