The Ephemeral Dictionary of Broken Things
Bibliothèque Glacière - Marina Tsvetaïeva
🍃
Christian Voltz creates a visual poetry using wire and old buttons, inspiring a generation of young creators. From February 3 to March 28, 2026, the Glacière Library - Marina Tsvetaïeva will showcase the work of students from Providence A and B schools. These elementary school pupils (CP and UEEA) have transformed waste materials into unique portraits and an unusual alphabet. Drawing on the aesthetics of recycling, they prove that art doesn't need expensive paints to exist, but simply a bit of imagination and discarded objects. This artistic walk provides a glimpse at the boundless creativity of these children who are reinventing our daily life with wit. It’s a chance to observe how scraps of string and pieces of cardboard transform into playful masterpieces in the heart of the library.
