Nick Doyle invites a reflection on the illusions of our time with ‘Collective Hallucinations,’ an unpublished exhibition at Perrotin. The Brooklyn-based artist explores the tension between the American dream and technological reality through a collection of denim collages and an immersive installation, his first attempt with artificial intelligence. The latter recreates a fortune teller’s office, a space where mountain landscapes revisited by Ansel Adams intersect with consumer elements. The exhibition questions the complex relationship between earth, technology, and American culture, deconstructing myths of progress and destruction. With works that reinterpret art icons and explore the impact of AI, ‘Collective Hallucinations’ is an invitation to question our perceptions. The exhibition is free to visit from April 24th to May 30th, 2026.
