Art between the books: Librarians exhibit

Behind the lending desk or between rows of books, unsuspected talents lie hidden. From March 10th to May 2nd, 2026, the Louise Walser-Gaillard library will unveil the works normally kept secret by its team. Drawings, photographs, and paintings will be installed on the walls to reveal the artistic fiber of these behind-the-scenes professionals. This selection highlights the spontaneity of a creative approach free from classical institutional circuits. It’s an opportunity to admire the diversity of techniques used by those who, daily, manipulate and classify the writings of others. A sincere encounter that proves that imagination never stops at the cover of a book, transforming this reading space into a vibrant gallery of shared sensibilities.
