Tarik Kiswanson: The Relief

Tarik Kiswanson transforms the Swedish Institute into a space for reflection on human resilience. Through pared-down sculptures and poignant videos, the artist questions the traces left by historical traumas and the possible paths to reconstruction. This project brings together mostly unpublished works, unveiled for the first time to the French public. How do we repair ourselves after the dark passages of our collective memories? Kiswanson offers sensitive answers to these universal questions. Between October 23, 2025, and January 11, 2026, this artistic proposition offers a powerful look at our capacity to regenerate despite the wounds of the past.
