Five Years of the Ellipse Prize

Since 2019, a vibrant artistic bridge has linked emerging African scenes to Parisian galleries. This ambitious project highlights talents whose audacity challenges current creation codes. Through a rigorous selection of paintings and sculptures, the journey traces an aesthetic adventure that began half a decade ago. Each piece testifies to reflections on identity, the environment, and technological innovation. The public gains access to singular perspectives, often presented for the first time in the capital, far from traditional academic circuits. It’s an opportunity to appreciate the work of laureates who are redefining the contours of contemporary art while fostering intercultural dialogue without borders. A privileged encounter to capture the pulse of a vibrant, mixed scene at the heart of a renowned gallery.
