Collection Feuerle Berlin
70 Hallesches Ufer, 10963, Berlin
In 2016, architect John Pawson transformed a former World War II telecommunications bunker into an exceptional art space: the Collection Feuerle. This unique institution presents a bold juxtaposition of works ranging from Qing dynasty lacquered furniture to 7th-century Khmer sculptures, passing through contemporary works by Zeng Fanzhi and Anish Kapoor. The exhibition, located in a space designed to stimulate reflection, invites a synesthetic exploration between cultures and eras. Visitors are confronted with a rare collection, often unseen to the public, which challenges conventional narratives of art. The lighting, carefully and minimalist, plays a crucial role in the experience. A guided tour will plunge you into a universe where time seems suspended, offering a fresh perspective on ancient and contemporary art. Ticket price from 22€.
