In 1924, Mayakovsky posed for Rodtchenko, marking a point of convergence with Andrzej Steinbach. The exhibition presented at Huis Marseille offers an exploration of the universe of an artist whose approach is singular: to explore the mechanisms of perception and the gaze. Steinbach constructs photographs with meticulous precision, often stripped down, where objects and bodies come together to question our way of seeing.
