In April 1940, Henri Matisse was completing *La Blouse Roumaine*, a work that has become the symbol of obstinate joy for life in the face of the darkness of those black years. Exceptionally, this masterpiece leaves the walls of the Centre Pompidou to install itself at the H’ART Museum in Amsterdam. Accompanied by eighty-eight magnificent canvases, the painting here dialogues with the visions of Picasso, Rothko, or even Bonnard. A green buffet is enough to order silence while a brilliant red redefines the space. Between open windows and textural games, each canvas invites a slow breath, capturing the vibrant light of Nice or Collioure. More than just an exhibition, it’s a lesson in serenity where color becomes architecture to dress an idea of happiness. The museum welcomes visitors daily from 10 am to 5 pm to contemplate this motionless journey through art of the 20th century.
