House of Day, House of Night

Olga Tokarczuk conceived of a village divided in two, separating the clarity of day from the mysteries of night. Inspired by this literary breath, ten emerging creators from the De Ateliers institution transform the Woonhuis into a sensory laboratory. Anthony Chiou, Blair Lam Hiu Suet, and Zainab Aldehaimy among others unveil vibrant works here, where matter seems barely fixed. Here, painting rubs shoulders with text and sculpture fades before the image. Far from frozen academic pathways, this exhibition celebrates languages in full bloom. One navigates between porous installations, observing how each piece seeks its own passage between daytime labor and nocturnal dreams. These singular voices coexist in changing light, offering a rare glimpse of creation in motion. The doors of this artist’s house open Thursday through Saturday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
