Wellness, Wigs and Weapons

In October 2026, the workshop of Arti et Amicitiae transforms into an unusual market: ‘Wellness, Wigs and Weapons’. A project by the collective The Blazed House, it proposes three fictitious shops where care, appearance, and defense are sold with a biting irony. Synthetic wigs stand alongside fake weapons, while the ‘Health and Sanity Check’ inaugurates this immersive experience. The exhibition, designed as a moving catalogue, explores our contemporary obsessions: eternal youth, desire, and the need to protect ourselves. The work of Bein van Vilsteren, Chris van Baaten, Luca Mosbech, Marianne Theunissen, Shachaf Pereg invites reflection on the mechanisms of commerce and identity. Museumnacht will close this unique route. A €5 entry fee will open the doors to this provocative installation that challenges our perceptions of reality and consumption.
