Fabian Ginsberg: Museum Art - Kienzle Art Foundation
In 2026, the Kienzle Art Foundation will present an unpublished work by Fabian Ginsberg, an artist exploring the links between art, economy, and institutions. The exhibition “Zentralmuseumskunst” is his third collaboration with the foundation, and builds on a decade of videos investigating time, measurement, and the equivalence of art and money. Ginsberg, known for his conceptual and ironic works, deconstructs museum practices and questions the value attributed to art. The exhibition includes, among other things, an excerpt from the film “Allgemeines Mobilisiertes Zentralmuseum,” a work that interrogates the function of museums. Accompanied by a publication, “Quallenkopf. Der Zentralmuseumskunst,” the exhibition offers a critical look at the institutional structures of art. It fits into a broader artistic approach, exploring themes such as representation, value systems, and economic models. The exhibition is open from May 1st to August 15th, 2026.
