In 2026, the Architecture Galerie Berlin presents an unprecedented exploration of the concept of “magic” in landscape design. The exhibition highlights the work of Franz Reschke Landschaftsarchitektur, who has dedicated fifteen years to deciphering the subtleties of public space. Beyond models and detailed plans illustrating the negotiations between a project and its urban environment – alleys, surfaces, edges – the exhibition invites reflection on how time, use, and human interactions actually shape these spaces. Reschke’s work focuses on what remains afterward: the worn bench, water finding its way, a tree taking root. Inspired by the monumental Eastern avenue, the exhibition questions the perception and use of landscape as a constant process, an organic adaptation. A conversation with experts will enrich the visitor with perspectives on the importance of atmosphere and perception in public design. Free admission, Tuesday to Friday 2pm-7pm, Saturday noon-6pm.
