Nils Dunkel: Resilience

Nils Dunkel explores emotional and physical resilience through a new series of installations, inaugurated at the Miettinen Collection. Inspired by the symbol of the forget-me-not flower, a symbol of perseverance in the face of adversity, Dunkel uses subtle materials and a conceptual approach to examine the human capacity to rebuild after crises. The exhibition, which runs from May to July 2026, presents a poetic and dense work combining painting and sculpture. The Miettinen Collection, recognized for its role as a bridge between Finnish and German art scenes, highlights contemporary talents such as Ville Kylätasku and Elina Brotherus. This collection, enriched by Timo Miettinen, continues to evolve with a bold curiosity, valuing emerging and established artists.
