Brancusi

In 2026, Berlin will host an unprecedented presentation of the work of Constantin Brancusi, the sculptor who radically transformed sculpture at the beginning of the 20th century. This exhibition, the result of a collaboration between the Neue Nationalgalerie and the Centre Pompidou, will bring together over 150 sculptures, photographs, drawings, and films, offering a complete overview of his artistic evolution. The event marks the first major retrospective of the sculptor in Germany in over 50 years, and includes a partial reconstruction of his famous Parisian studio. Visitors will be able to admire variations on iconic motifs such as “The Kiss,” “Bird in Space,” and “Column Without End,” exploring how Brancusi used light, movement, and materials to create immersive environments. The exhibition will run from the beginning of March 2026 to August 2026, offering a unique opportunity to discover the work of a master of modern art.
