Berlin will host a unique exhibition by Christiane Löhr, a renowned German artist known for her immersive sculptural installations. Inspired by nature, Löhr uses organic materials such as horsehair, seeds, and buds to create ephemeral works that appear to be born and dissolve. This first solo exhibition at the Levy gallery explores the concept of “soffuso,” suggesting diffusion and impregnation. Löhr, whose work has been praised for its reflection on the relationship between nature and space, transforms raw elements into luminous forms, oscillating between sculpture and drawing. The exhibition, open from May 1st to July 18th, 2026, offers a unique opportunity to appreciate the delicate beauty of these fragile constructions and their contemplation. The event is part of Gallery Weekend Berlin 2026 and constitutes an important presentation of Löhr’s work, already recognized for her innovative approach to temporal sculpture.
