Giulia Vetri confronts the eye of the storm to freeze the ephemeral. Her monumental photographs transform celestial fury into paintings of a striking aesthetic. At the Maison du livre, de l'image et du son, the artist places us face to face with troubled skies and landscapes transformed by atmospheric violence. Far from a simple reportage, this work documents our fragile link with nature, increasingly unpredictable under the effects of climate change. We observe spectacular cloud formations and the raw power of the elements, captured with rare precision at the heart of chaos.
